The second part of the scandalous story of a woman's erotic experiences from birth to her fiftieth birthday, told on behalf of the main character, a woman named Jo, who diagnosed herself with nymphomania. For the first time in his life, Lars von Trier handed over the cinema editing of his brainchild and received two two-hour tapes at the exit from the film in five and a half hours.
