The writer William Forrester lived for many years in voluntary seclusion from the world. The last time he was heard from was forty years ago, when the world saw his remarkable novel that won the Pulitzer Prize. But since then, no one has managed to cross the threshold of this writer's house. However, a 16-year-old boy named Jamal Wallace manages to get into the living legend's home and talk to the reclusive old man. And this chance meeting turns out to be fateful. Thanks to her, the withdrawn Forrester again finds a taste for life outside his "ivory tower". And Jamal, a talented basketball player with a brilliant sports career, reveals that his true calling is literary creativity...
